Clearing the Way for Colombia to Rebuild
Hai-Loumos is a Houston, Texas based demolition and infrastructure organization built for the conditions that follow an emergency.
WHO WE ARE
Every rebuilt street, hospital and school begins with someone removing what can no longer stand. That work sets the schedule for everything that follows.
Hai-Loumos operates from Houston, Texas, on demolition, debris removal, site clearing and site preparation for public and private owners. The work has been done inside operating airports, on municipal sites and in dense downtown corridors — environments where the site cannot be shut down and the margin for error is small.
Those same constraints define recovery work. Damaged structures, live utilities, restricted access, public oversight and a population that needs its city back. The discipline transfers directly.
Under the Colombia Emergency Recovery & Reconstruction Initiative, that capability is being organized for deployment alongside Colombian authorities, contractors and operators.
MISSION & CORE VALUES
Hai-Loumos puts client needs first. Our professionals provide engineering and related services worldwide — ethically, and with a focus on developing and maintaining long-term client relationships. These core values are the philosophies that guide every decision we make.
We hold our clients paramount. We listen to them and strive to consistently meet their requirements and exceed their expectations.
Our members' capabilities, initiative, integrity, creativity and commitment are our most important assets. We provide satisfying growth opportunities in a safe, healthy working environment, a role in shaping our mutual future, and fair compensation — and we support the growing diversity of the workforce.
We pursue excellence in all that we do. Excellence is achieved through a continuous quest for improvement.
We lead with openness, fairness and integrity. The health of the company depends on member trust, empowerment and involvement in the future direction of the business.
We take seriously our responsibilities to the professions we practice; to public health, safety and welfare; to the communities where we live and work; and to our shareholders. We are professionally independent and member-owned, and our conservative fiscal management provides stability.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES
Nothing comes down without a written authorization from the competent authority. Speed never substitutes for permission.
Sequence, exclusion zones, haul routes and disposal are decided before a machine is mobilized.
We integrate with local crews, operators and firms rather than displacing them.
A site is finished when its condition is recorded and accepted, not when the last truck leaves.
Perimeters, signage and dust control are treated as obligations to the neighborhood, not site formalities.
Debris is classified and disposed of through documented routes. Volume removed is volume accounted for.
EXPERIENCE
